• Puppy Group Obedience Class - 6 sessions ~ $280

• Adult Group Obedience Class - 6 sessions ~ $300

YDT's Group Obedience offerings, over the course of six 1.5 hour sessions, teaches you and your dog the basics of manners, respect and socialization. Our classes meet once a week for six weeks. Our puppy class option is available from 8 weeks of age through 6 months of age. Our adult class option is for dogs 6 months and older.

*Exceptions to age restrictions due to dogs size or experience may be made when deemed appropriate

• CGC Group Obedience Program** - 18 sessions ~ $820

YDT's CGC Group Program is an all inclusive group experience. You and your dog will go through and complete three levels of our group obedience classes. The first level covers the basics of manners, respect and socialization; The second level is all about proofing your dogs behaviors through clear leadership and communication; And the third level is about the application of everything you've learned thus far to the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.

The Canine Good Citizen is an AKC program to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs. The goal is to promote good citizenship for all dogs, regardless of breed or size. Dogs with a CGC are often looked at as good behavior ambassadors - making the CGC a great choice for people with dogs that have been mislabeled as aggressive for no other reason than their breed.

**Great for people who rent because it is a recognized certification that gives your landlord confidence that your dog won't be destructive.

**Can also help counter breed-specific legislation in apartment complexes, usually with a CGC they will make the exception and allow you to have your dog in spite of the usual rules.
